Endodontist Grant Burgdorf, DDS, MS

Dr. Burgdorf, the founder of Advanced Endodontics Center, had a vision to create a different type of endodontic practice. He developed his conservative and patient focused philosophy over many years of practicing at the highest level both in New York City and Atlanta. Dr. Burgdorf brings a thorough understanding of complex endodontic cases, patient-centered outcomes, and an empathetic approach to patient care. His world class expertise is now showcased in his state of the art private practice in Alpharetta, GA where he performs both surgical and non surgical treatment to patients of all ages.

He was born and raised in California’s central valley, a region renowned for its agriculture. Dr. Burgdorf was accepted into UCLA and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics. While an undergraduate, Dr. Burgdorf worked with UCLA’s Football and Track and Field programs where he met UCLA’s team dentist who encouraged him to pursue the field of dentistry. He then attended the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry, earning his D.D.S. degree while serving as the vice-president of his class.  After earning his dental degree, he furthered his studies by attending the Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education, where he received both his Endodontic Certificate as well as a Master of Science degree. Dr. Burgdorf designed multiple research projects on radiographic interpretation, one of which was published in the Journal of Endodontics. Dr. Burgdorf now lectures to both local and national organizations on fractured tooth management, dental trauma, and treatment of the pediatric patient. He is looking forward to providing the highest level of attention and skill that the community deserves in a comfortable relaxed setting.

Dr. Burgdorf is board-certified, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is also active in both the American Association of Endodontists and the Georgia Dental Association.
